2012 marked one of the best racing seasons at Hastings Racecourse as one of their own jockeys, Mario Gutierrez, raced for a chance at the Triple Crown (Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes and Belmont Stakes). Due to unfortunate circumstances, Mario and his horse i'llhaveanother was not able to partake on the last leg of the Triple Crown Glory.
Nevertheless, the Mario Madness continues at Hastings Racecourse.
Creative for the Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes & Belmont Stakes included multiple print ads for 24H Vancouver edition Paper, Georgia Straight, Global BC web graphic, Chinese Print ad (Ming Pao) and a full set of artwork on-site. Supporting pieces included creating the Mario Gutierrez Bobble Head Doll boxes, Mario Gutierrez Trading Cards (for meet and greet with Mario) and design for Mario Ball cap.
